The annual meeting of the Institute of Physics
in Ireland is delighted to present three public lectures that look at different
aspects of Einstein's Theory of General Relativity. Professors Mike Cruise from
the University of Birmingham, Mauro Paternostro of the Queen's University of
Belfast and Cormac O'Raifeartaigh of the Waterford Institute of Technology will
deliver a deeper insight into the legacy of a genius that spawned a scientific
revolution and forever changed our understanding of the Universe. Come along
and spend a couple of hours delving into our spacetime reality.
The lectures will cover gravity waves, quantum effects and a recently
discovered paper that shows Einstein's calculations on Black Holes.
